You are hereby summoned to join a Meeting of Navenby with Skinnand Parish Council to be conducted in the Parish Office, on Tuesday 7th July 2026 at 7.00pm.
AGENDA
1. Chairman’s Welcoming Remarks.
2. The PUBLIC SESSION will follow and last for fifteen minutes. Members of the Public may ask questions or make short statements to the Parish Council.
3. Apologies for Absence and declaration of interests - to receive and accept apologies where valid reasons for absence have been given to the Parish Clerk prior to the meeting. And, in accordance with the requirements of the Localism Act 2011, consider any applications for dispensations in relation to pecuniary and/or prejudicial beneficial interests.
4. To approve and accept the minutes from the Parish Council meeting, held on Thursday 4th June 2026.
5. To resolve and approve the financial report and authorise payments for June 2026.
6. To consider updates from District/County Councillors.
7. To consider Planning Matters:
a. Applications:
26/0677/HOUS – 2 Manor Farm Navenby. Erection of 2 storey rear extension.
b. Correspondence:
Letter from NKDC planning enforcement regarding 54 High Street Navenby. Development not in accordance with approved plans.
26/0416/FUL – 6 North Lane Navenby. Application for erection of detached timber building was approved.
26/0494/HOUS – Top Farm Barn 3 Green Man Road Navenby. Application for a single storey courtyard extension was approved.
b. Tree Conservation:
26/0758/TCA - 4 Lansdowne Road Navenby. Reduction in height of Ash tree by half and thin crown.
8. To consider correspondence.
22 May 26 – E Mail from resident requesting an update regarding concerns about parking on Gas Lane.
May 26 – call from resident requesting NPC to consider holding a E Waste recycling collection day like Bracebridge Heath.
9. NPFA – update on progress with the draft NJFC Service Level Agreement (SLA).
10. NPC – to consider & approve the proposed revised SLA for the Parish Office.
11. Parish Office – to review office opening hours.
12. To review & approve the Clerk’s & RFO’s Responsibilities for Supporting Cllrs as the Managing Trustee for Navenby Playing Field Association (NPFA) with Governance, Administration & Financial Management.
13. Updates from Portfolio Holders:
Cemetery – approval for repair (£375.00 plus VAT) to residents’ memorial stone damaged by grounds maintenance
Play Areas – update on progress with Twenty Row slide and KOMPAN quarterly report.
Library – to discuss proposed rent increase following Brown & Co valuation report.
HR – committee to update on the recruitment of a new Clerk & RFO.
