You are hereby summoned to join a Meeting of Navenby with Skinnand Parish Council to be conducted in the Parish Office, on Tuesday 5th May 2026 at 8.00pm.

 

AGENDA

 

1.  Chairman’s Welcoming Remarks.

 

2.  The PUBLIC SESSION will follow and last for fifteen minutes. Members of the Public may ask questions or make short statements to the Parish Council.

 

3.    Apologies for absence and declaration of interests - to receive and accept apologies where valid reasons for absence have been given to the Parish Clerk prior to the meeting. And, in accordance with the requirements of the Localism Act 2011, consider any applications for dispensations in relation to pecuniary and/or prejudicial beneficial interests.

 

4.  To approve and accept the minutes from the Parish Council meeting, held on Tuesday 7th April 2026; and to review outstanding actions from previous meetings.

 

5. To resolve and approve the financial report and authorise payments.

 

6.  To consider updates from District/County Councillors.

Notification of Decision. 1 Overton Close. 26/0055/HOUS. Erection of 1.2m fence to front boundary and removal existing hedge along western boundary to be replaced with part 1.2m, part 2m fence and gates (part retrospective). Approved.

8. Annual Governance & Accountability Return (AGAR) 2025/2026:

 

a. To read out, fill in and sign Section 1 – Annual Governance & Accountability Return AGAR 2025/2026.

 

b. To accept and sign Section 2 – Accounting Statement 2025/2026 of the AGAR.

 

c. To accept Statement of Accounts and authorise the Chair to sign them. 

 

d. To accept the Internal Auditor Report.

 

9. Finance. To consider and approve a grant application by NPFA, for £2000, to conduct a professional assessment of the level of rent to charge exclusive users.

 

10. Finance. To consider and approve a grant application by NPFA, for £500, for a community activity at the Venue Community Event on 28th June 2026. 

 

11. Finance. To consider quotes, and approve a contract, to print 1000 copies of the PC newsletter.

 

12. Risk Register. To review the risk register.
