You are hereby summoned to join a Meeting of Navenby with Skinnand Parish Council to be conducted in the Parish Office, on Tuesday 5th December 2023 at 7.00pm.

AGENDA

1.  Chairman’s Welcoming Remarks.
2.  The PUBLIC SESSION will follow and last for fifteen minutes.  Members of the Public may ask questions or make short statements to the Parish Council. 
3.   Apologies for Absence and declaration of interests - to receive and accept apologies where valid reasons for absence have been given to the Parish Clerk prior to the meeting.   And, in accordance with the requirements of the Localism Act 2011, consider any applications for dispensations in relation to pecuniary and/or prejudicial beneficial interests.
4.  To approve and accept the minutes from the Parish Council meeting, held on Tuesday 7th November 2023. Clerk to update on any outstanding actions.
5.  To resolve and approve the financial report and authorise payments.
6.  To consider updates from District/County Councillors.

14.  Wellingore & Navenby Royal British Legion. Update from Cllr Everett on proposal to establish closer links.

15. FOSSE Green Solar Farm Proposal. Cllr Everett to update on the latest developments.

a. CEMETERY – update from Cllr Gunning.  Cllr East to update on Contractor Quotes received iro the Lych Gate repairs.  To consider & approve the Clerk & Cllr Gunning attending the upcoming “Management of Memorials – Inspection Workshop” at a cost of £300 on the 25 April 2024. 
                                     
b. HIGHWAYS – update from Cllr Burt on progress with the Community Speed Watch initiative.  
                              
c. NAVENBY CAR SCHEME – update from Cllr Watson.

d. PLAY AREAS – update from Cllr East.  Proposal for new signage from Cllr McFaul. 

e. SCHOOL HOUSE TRUST – update from Cllr Lamyman.

f. LIBRARY – update from Cllr Watts.

Update from Cllr Burt on review of the Community Consultation Contract. Consideration and approval of new signage for the John Cutforth sports field.

i. COMMUNITY WELLBEING inc Youth Club:

Update from Cllr McFaul.  Consideration and approval of a proposal for the Youth Café to branch out and run a Youth Club for 8-12 yrs on a Monday evening.   Consideration and approval of a NPC donation to the Youth Club.

j. SPEED INDICATOR DEVICE (SID) – update from Cllr Watts.
