You are hereby summoned to join a Meeting of Navenby with Skinnand Parish Council to be conducted via Video Link (Zoom), on Tuesday 4th August 2020 at 7.00pm.

1. Chairman’s Welcoming Remarks.

 

2. The Public Session will follow and last for fifteen minutes. Members of the Public may ask questions or make short statements to the Parish Council. (Zoom Meeting ID No: 251 397 6962)

 

3. Apologies for Absence and declaration of interests - to receive and accept apologies where valid reasons for absence have been given to the Parish Clerk prior to the meeting. And, in accordance with the requirements of the Localism Act 2011, consider any applications for dispensations in relation to pecuniary and/or prejudicial beneficial interests.

 

4. To approve and accept the minutes from the Parish Council meeting, held on Tuesday 7th July 2020.

 

5. To resolve and approve the financial report and authorise payments (Appendix A).

14. Updates from Portfolio Holders:

a. Cemetery – NKDC 2020 Tree Inspection Survey – essential & desirable works, update from Clerk.

b. Highways - to consider a Road Safety Review of the A607 thru Navenby. To approve the purchase of additional Passive Road Safety Signs from LRSP.

c. Youth Club (ACTS) – update from Cllr Hall.

d. Navenby Car Scheme – suspended until further notice.

e. Play Areas – update by Cllr Taylor on the reopening of the Play Areas. To consider and approve a quote for pressure washing of play equipment.

f. School House Trust

g. Cliff Cluster – update from the Chairman.

h. Library – closed until further notice.

i. Finance – see Agenda Item 11.

j. Website/IT = update from Clerk on new Website. To consider and agree the documentation to be transferred

k. Venue Trustee Chairman – to consider a proposal for (1) the provision of a Projector & Screen for use by Customers (2) charging for WI-FI use and (3) for either “for profit” or “not for profit” Cinema” nights.

l. Mrs Smith’s Cottage

m. Speed Indicator Device (SID) – to consider & Resolve the purchase of a second device.
