Important Update: Cliff Villages Medical Practice Dispensary Closing
The dispensary at Cliff Villages Medical Practice will close permanently from Monday 2 March 2026.
Because of changes to the practice’s NHS contract, and in line with NHS regulations, the practice is no longer allowed to provide dispensing services after this date.
You will be able to get your medication from a local pharmacy.
What this means for you
- If you have already ordered your prescription, you can collect it from the practice dispensary as normal up to 5pm on Friday 27 February 2026.
- If you haven’t yet ordered, you will need to request for your medication to be dispensed from a pharmacy.
- You will not be able to request or collect medicines from the practice once the dispensary has closed.
Choosing a Pharmacy
To keep getting your medication without delay, you need to choose a pharmacy. This is called nominating a pharmacy.
Once you have chosen one, your prescriptions will be sent there electronically.
You can choose a pharmacy by:

- Finding a pharmacy near you here: www.nhs.uk/service-search/pharmacy/find-a-pharmacy
- Contacting your chosen pharmacy and asking them to set this up for you
Some pharmacies offer free home delivery. Please ask your chosen pharmacy if they provide this service.
If you would prefer to use an online pharmacy that delivers your medicines to your home, you will need to register with them directly through their website.
