The Parish Council has approved an increase to Navenby Cemetery fees with effect from 1st October 2025, noting that fees have only been increased once in the past 7 years (February 2023).
The income from fees does not currently meet the expenses required for grounds maintenance, and an increase in caretaker hours is required to maintain the cemetery to a consistently satisfactory standard.* Residents who are currently in discussion with the Parish Office regarding cemetery plots will need to confirm and settle invoices by that date or be charged the new fees (detailed below).

The Parish Council also wishes to take this opportunity to remind residents of the requirement for memorials to be approved by the Parish Office. Personal mementoes should also be kept off grassed areas and, in particular, off the areas immediately adjacent to the plinth/base of stone memorials. This is to enable caretakers to mow the grass effectively around grave plots.
*For Financial Year 2024/2025 cemetery income was £1785 while expenditure totalled £10,219.
