You are hereby summoned to join a Meeting of Navenby with Skinnand Parish Council to be conducted in the Parish Office, on Tuesday 4th March 2025 at 7.00pm.

 

AGENDA

1.  Chairman’s Welcoming Remarks.

2.  The PUBLIC SESSION will follow and last for fifteen minutes.  Members of the Public may ask questions or make short statements to the Parish Council.

3.   Apologies for Absence and declaration of interests - to receive and accept apologies where valid reasons for absence have been given to the Parish Clerk prior to the meeting.   And, in accordance with the requirements of the Localism Act 2011, consider any applications for dispensations in relation to pecuniary and/or prejudicial beneficial interests.

4.  To approve and accept the minutes from the Parish Council meeting, held on Tuesday 4th February 2025. Clerk to update on any outstanding actions.

5.  To resolve and approve the financial report and authorise payments.

6.  To consider updates from District/County Councillors.

7.  To consider matters pertaining to local Policing.

10.  Consideration and approval of the schedule of Parish Council Meetings for 2025-26.

11.  Consideration and approval of a request to donate £500 to LCVS to support the printing & distribution to all Navenby residents of a leaflet publicising a new “pay as you go” hospital car scheme.

Cllrs Mills to update on:

a proposal to provide an in-reach library service to the residents at Homelea care home or a book club/coffee morning.

a proposed donation of £500 by NPC to St Peters Primary School iro their FONS/PTA library appeal to renew the entire library.

g. VENUE TRUSTEE CHAIRMAN

Update from the Chairman

Retrospective approval of an additional £1,300 iro the new gravelled roadway. Revised overall total to be £9,750 exc VAT.

h. COMMUNITY WELLBEING inc Youth Café/Club:

Update from Cllr McFaul/Mills/Thompson-Burt & Rooney.

i. SPEED INDICATOR DEVICE (SID) – update from Cllr Burt.

j. DEFIBRILLATORS – update from Cllr Gunning.

k. STREET LAMPS – update from Cllr Gunning.  Retrospective approval of £1,464.50 for the EON Energy disconnection & reconnection of a PC streetlight in Gas Lane.
